Frequently Asked Questions
What kind of events do you play at?
I specialise in high-energy, house music driven events; from beach clubs and rooftop sessions to private parties and brand launches. I also love performing at weddings, birthdays, and bespoke celebrations that want an extra bit of sparkle. Check out my other Instagram page for more wedding and party content! @party__sax
Do you play alongside DJs?
Yes! I almost always play alongside a DJ, blending live sax with house, deep house, or Ibiza-style beats to elevate the vibe. I have DJs that I regularly work with who I can recommend, or I’m happy to work a DJ already arranged by yourself. Depending on the type of event, I can also DJ and play sax at the same time.
Can you perform solo?
Yes - I am happy to perform solo and bring the energy with my sax and speaker for daytime settings or small gatherings.
Do you travel for events?
Yes. I’m based in the north west of England, but I travel nationally and internationally for bookings - from Ibiza to city rooftops!
How long do you usually play for?
Sets are flexible, but a typical performance might be 2 or 3 bursts of 20-30 minutes of high energy. Daytime sets are usually a couple of 45 minute sets. I can also create custom sets to fit your event flow.
Can you learn a specific song for my event?
But of course! Whether it’s a special track for a first dance, walk down the aisle, or a personal favourite, just let me know in advance.
What styles of music do you play?
While house and electronic music is my specialty, I’m versatile. I can also play chilled lounge sets, Smooth FM vibes, or sax covers of pop anthems depending on your event style.
Do you bring your own equipment?
Yes, I bring my saxophone (you'd hope so haha!) and a wireless mic setup so I can roam and interact with guests, and a PA if this has been pre-arranged. For larger events, I do usually require a DJ to play alongside, or I may need to liaise with your sound team to plug into the main PA.
How do I book you?
Either email me with a few details about your event or fill in the contact form above and I’ll get back to you as soon as possible to chat about what you're after, my availability, and next steps!
How far in advance should I book?
Peak dates (especially summer weekends and holiday seasons) book up quickly, so it’s best to enquire as early as you can. That said, if I’m free, I’m always up for a last-minute gig.
